Abhishek Bachchan flags off the ÂAwareness Run against Drug AbuseÂ

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan spoke on the subject of drug abuse on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Narcotics Control Bureau  a national nodal agency for all drug related matter.
Abhishek was the Chief Guest to flag off an Awareness Run Against Drug Abuse held on 27th March in Mumbai.
The star spoke on how citizens could help lend a hand to fight against the cause along with the NGOs working with the Government since the chain of supply and demand reduction cannot be done in isolation.
Says a source, ÂAbhishek Bachchan has always been a socially responsible citizen, even in his choice of endorsements. He is looked upon as an actor who is very grounded with his moral ethics in place hence he seemed apt to address the subject of drug abuse on the occasion of the Narcotics Control BureauÂs Silver Jubilee.Â
On being thanked for taking time out of his busy schedule to speak about the cause, Abhishek made mention that schedules should be worked around causes such as these  spoken like a truly responsible Indian citizen.
